Summer Youth Band

Open to all high school band students, work with PSU Music faculty and students in a day of music making, learning, and fun! The day will culminate in a performance that evening at 7:00 at the Bicknell Center.

Piano Fest

Come join us for a wonderful day of piano workshops, masterclasses, and a concert, at the incredible Bicknell Family Center for the Arts on the campus of Pittsburg State University. This state-of-the-art facility also houses magnificent Steinway Concert Grand pianos for us to perform on. The PianoFest masterclasses and workshops will be taught by reputed pianist and professor, Dr. Reena Natenberg.

Join Dr. Ramiro Miranda and string faculty to a transformative and summer music experience! A three-day event of technique class, improvisation session, orchestra rehearsals, sectionals, and masterclasses with PSU faculty and students, and an evening concert! Open to all middle and high school string players.

Summer Voice and Audition Techniques Workshop

This camp is perfect for all high school singers of any genre—come improve your solo singing and learn the ins and outs of auditioning! Whether you plan to try out for the school musical, sing for regional choir, or audition for a college music program, we will explore audition etiquette, repertoire choices, practices to combat performance anxiety, and more! Sing in mock audition with immediate feedback, try a sample voice lesson, and end your day singing a solo in a Summer Music Fest Concert.
